A true Southern style bench form and not a bad one. Mostly thrusting and sweeping moves with very little of the extraneous movements you sometimes see. Very learnable. Good actions and a reasonable area for performance. Bench forms are like being in one of those wonderful restaurant fights that was a staple of Kung Fu cinema for so many years. Méishān Bǎndèng 梅山板凳 Bench 梅山派的独门兵器板凳，开始是随手取而用之的护身武器，後经拳家演练，编有丰富实用的套路，其作用十分广泛，进攻有枪棍之利，防守有盾牌之坚，因板凳有四个脚，当被敌围困时，其作用又如三节棍，防身护身，滴水不漏。 The bench, a unique weapon of the Meishan School, was originally a readily available defensive weapon. Later, through the practice of martial arts masters, it was developed into a rich and practical routine. Its uses are very wide-ranging. Offensively, it has the advantages of a spear or staff, while defensively, it has the strength of a shield. Because the bench has four legs, when surrounded by enemies, it can also function like a three-section staff, providing impenetrable protection.

Boxe Mei Shan (Montanha Ameixa) Este é um estilo sobre o qual ouvimos falar pouco (até agora). Parece ser uma mistura de Kung Fu estilo Shaolin do Sul, semelhante ao Hung, e, surpreendentemente, um pouco de Bagua – embora isso seja mantido separado do estilo principal. O treinamento é árduo e desenvolve força física. Os movimentos são baseados no Boxe do Tigre, com algumas variações Mei Shan de formas famosas como Gung Ji e Da Hong.
