Méishān yāntǒng 梅山烟筒 Long (Opium) Pipe
This weapon is more common among Southern Chinese due to the “guest city” status of the English held area. How important was the Opium trade. Recent research estimates that 70 % of the Victorian era was financed by the great circle of England to India to China with the opium trade as a necessary cornerstone of the circle. This form, we suspect, has been at least partially “contemporized” with some fancy kick and jumps. In its techniques, it combines the imposing power of a stick striking a large area with the sharp precision of a spear piercing a single line. It is a rare weapon in Meishan, and its main techniques include digging, smashing, sweeping, stabbing, thrusting, flicking, parrying, and deflecting.

Boxe Mei Shan (Montanha Ameixa) Este é um estilo sobre o qual ouvimos falar pouco (até agora). Parece ser uma mistura de Kung Fu estilo Shaolin do Sul, semelhante ao Hung, e, surpreendentemente, um pouco de Bagua – embora isso seja mantido separado do estilo principal. O treinamento é árduo e desenvolve força física. Os movimentos são baseados no Boxe do Tigre, com algumas variações Mei Shan de formas famosas como Gung Ji e Da Hong.
