Learn Aikido that works from a long time Aikido instructor and combat sports practitioner Rokas Leo.
Rokas devoted more than 15 years learning and teaching Aikido, until he decided to expand his horizon by training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing and MMA. In this course Rokas shares everything he learned and found useful from effective Aikido techniques, to safe falling methods and principles of dealing with multiple attackers.
The main techniques that you will learn will be:
– Functional Kotegaeshi (wristlock takedown)
– Functional Sankyo (wristlock)
– Functional Ikkyo (elbow control)
– Functional Irimi Nage (standing takedown)
– Functional Kaiten Nage (standing takedown)
– Functional Nykio (wristlock)
More on Rokas Leo:
Rokas Leo (full name Rokas Leonavičius) is a Lithuanian martial artist, content creator, and founder of the Ultimate Self-Defense Championship (USDC).
He first became known for his YouTube channel “Martial Arts Journey,” where he documented his evolution from being an Aikido instructor to exploring realistic and pressure-tested martial arts such as MMA, BJJ, and Krav Maga. Dissatisfied with the practicality of traditional arts, he closed his Aikido dojo and began a public journey to test what actually works in self-defense and combat situations.
Today, Rokas focuses on bridging traditional martial arts and realistic self-defense, producing educational and experimental content, and organizing the USDC — a challenge-based series that puts martial artists into real-world scenarios to test their skills under stress.
