Overview

Pursuing “disappearing movement” and “speed” — Cultivating the ideal martial body.

Kuroda Tetsuzan, headmaster of the Shimbukan and a classical martial artist known for embodying unimaginable speed through his research into “disappearing movement,” presents a series of training methods—“play‑practice”—designed to cultivate a non‑ordinary, highly refined martial body. Across two volumes, he carefully introduces these methods.

Aimed at developing the quality of one’s movement rather than winning or losing, strength or weakness, the content is valuable for the daily training of all martial arts practitioners.
