Basics Vol 4 – Health
Many martial artists add outside forms of health practice into their training. However in Systema, health practices are an intrinsic and essential part of regular training. It is important that the training itself be beneficial to all aspects of life.

Systema takes a different approach from many of the sports-based ground styles, working more on principles than technique.

Rather than throws, Systema tends to use takedowns in order to get an opponent to the floor. This film shows you how to work and understand the fundamental principles of takedowns.

Basics Vol 9 – Fear
Without an understanding of the fear process and how to deal with it, technique or skill can become useless
This film explains how fear affects the body and mind and teaches introductory methods of fear control. Includes working with the breath, identifying areas of tension, how to take strikes and drills to work with the flinch reflex.
Basics Vol – 10 Kicks
This film covers the foundation work for kicking. It includes preparation work – stretching, strengthening the legs and joint rotation before moving on to the basic methods for learning how to deal with kicks.
Also included are some ideas on using the knees and tripping an opponent plus some freestyle drills to add into your training!

Many people ask how they can train alone – either as a supplement to class or, where they have no access to an instructor
