SERIES OVERVIEW: Foundational Jiu Jitsu is a comprehensive instructional series designed for newer jiu jitsu practitioners to ensure a solid foundation is being established. The course is taught by Professor Gui Mendes and includes 30 videos focused on three main topics: intensity, bottom game & top game. The 4x black belt world champion provides valuable insight throughout the series, making the techniques and situations simple and easy to comprehend. Insight & Experience: The series includes insight and experiences shared by Professor Gui Mendes that are clear and easy to understand for newer jiu jitsu practitioners. An hour long one on one private lesson is available and provides an unscripted conversation about three individual jiu jitsu journeys. Sweeps, Submissions & Passes: Foundational Jiu Jitsu introduces offensive attacks from both on top and on bottom with explanations on situational goals for each scenario. Defenses & Escapes: The series also includes important positional and situational defensive instruction that is relevant to newer practitioners.
