Instructor Profile

Ishii Satoshi

(Head of Tenryu Martial Arts Association, 8th‑generation Xinyi Liuhequan lineage holder)

Entered the All‑Japan Chinese Martial Arts Federation in 1978, studying Taijiquan and various Chinese martial arts as well as Japanese classical martial traditions. Studied:

• Chen‑style Taijiquan under Du Jin
• Shanxi‑style Xingyiquan under Feng Zhengbao

Served as instructor and board member of the All‑Japan Chinese Martial Arts Federation (1982–2007). Received:

• Gold Medal, Chen‑style Taijiquan, China International Taijiquan Exchange
• 1st Place, Xingyiquan, National Wushu Taijiquan Championships

Recognized as a formal inheritor by Zhao Yongchang. Later became a disciple of Shanghai Xinyi Liuhequan & Chaquan master Li Zunsi.

Founded the Tenryu Martial Arts Association in 2008 to promote Japan–China martial arts research and exchange. Also:

• 5th‑generation Baguazhang inheritor
• 19th‑generation Yagyū Shingan‑ryu Heiho instructor
• Yamato‑do Japanese military arts instructor

78年全日本中国拳法連盟に入門、太極拳を始めとする各種中国武術、日本古武道を学ぶ。また杜進老師より陳式太極拳、馮正宝老師より山西派形意拳を学び、82年～07年まで全日本中国拳法連盟の指導員・理事を務める。中国国際太極拳観摩交流大会・陳式太極拳金賞を受賞、武術太極拳全国大会・形意拳一位に入賞する。趙永昌老師より正式伝承者として認定される。その後上海心意六合拳・査拳大家・李尊思老師に拝師。08年日中武術の研究・交流を目的として天龍武術会を創立、現在に至る。八卦掌第五代伝人、柳生心眼流兵術十九世師範、日本兵法大和道師範。
