Chapter 1 No-Gi Stand Up
With Miha being a judo black belt and takedown specialist, you can bet that this section of the course features a depth of knowledge that you simply cannot fit on a few dozen book pages. Expect to learn how to stay safe, become confident in navigating the various tie-ups on the feet.
Chapters 2 and 3 Playing Guard vs Passing Guard
There is no jiu-jitsu without a guard and modern no-gi guards are a complicated puzzle, especially when you sprinkle leglocks into the mix. In these chapters Miha identifies the fundamental guards and key techniques from them, as well as the tools to dismantle them.
Chapters 4, 5, 6, and 7 Dominant Positions
When you start submission grappling it’s to be expected that you will be getting stuck and frustrated in dominant positions. In the video course Miha aims to provide more context, tips and defensive strategies for front headlock, turtle, side control, north south, mount and back control. Including some that you won’t learn anywhere else.
Chapters 8 and 9 Submissions
There’s no feeling quite like earning your first one in sparring or better yet, competition. This chapter dives deeper into upper body and lower body submissions, adding tons of defenses that did not make the cut for this edition of the book. With many of Miha’s competition wins coming by way of some kind of brutal leglock, you can expect juicy details on those.
