Taiki Shisei Kenpō (Taikiken) has drawn the attention of many fighters and martial artists due to the freshness of its training methods and the rationality of its techniques. In this three‑volume series, Iwama Norimasa—who received the highest rank of 7th‑dan Kyōshi from the founder, Sawai Kenichi Sōshi—provides careful instruction. By removing ambiguity and clearly defining goals, methods, and means, Iwama’s teachings offer valuable material not only for Taikiken practitioners but for martial artists and fighters across disciplines.

In this third volume, the DVD focuses on kumite, a major characteristic of Taikiken in which practitioners strike bare‑faced and bare‑handed. It explains how to apply these skills, and provides instruction on Ki and Shinken (“Spirit Fist”).

 Instructor Profile — Iwama Norimasa

Born 1945 in Ibaraki Prefecture. Practiced martial arts from childhood; studied kendo in junior high and judo in high school. In university, trained in Shōrin‑ryū Karate‑dō and began studying Taiki Shisei Kenpō (Taikiken) under founder Sawai Kenichi Sōshi, from whom he received the highest rank of 7th‑dan Kyōshi. Drawing on extensive experience in inter‑style matches, he now teaches the next generation. He is also the Chief Master of Shōrin‑ryū Karate.
